Questions
These are the questions couples ask us most: what is free, how guests reply on WhatsApp, how each family sees only its own functions, how the Guest Concierge and the caricature, 3D and song invitations work, which languages it speaks, and how paying works. Every answer describes ShaadiMode as it works today.
If your question isn’t here, ask us directly — we answer on WhatsApp.
Yes. The Free plan is free forever, for a wedding with up to 50 families. See pricing for what each plan includes.
Just a phone with WhatsApp or a browser. There is nothing to download and nothing to install.
No. On every plan, the invitation is a link — it opens the opening film, the full page, and the reply form directly in WhatsApp's browser or any mobile browser. On the Signature plan, a guest can also just reply inside the WhatsApp chat itself — RSVP, meals, rooms — nothing to open at all.
Yes, on the Plus plan and above. Every family gets its own link, greeted by its own name, and that link shows only the functions that family is invited to — nothing else.
Each reply is per person, per function — attending, declined, or not yet answered — with a meal choice (Jain, veg, non-veg) and a plus-one's real name where relevant. It lands on a dashboard you can actually read, not a pile of WhatsApp messages.
Yes, on the Plus plan and above. Invite the other side as an editor and you both work on the same wedding, from your own logins — no reconciling two spreadsheets the night before.
Yes. On the Plus plan and above, the invitation and save the date can be set in 28 languages: 18 Indian ones, from Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi to Rajasthani and Bhojpuri, plus the ones family abroad read, like Spanish, French and German. Guests can switch between the languages you pick.
You send the invitation yourself, from your own WhatsApp number — one tap opens a message with each family's link already written in. On the Signature plan, updates and the RSVP form itself go out from ShaadiMode's own WhatsApp number to the families who opted in to receive them.
You text it in plain Hindi or English — "Sharma family ko sirf wedding", "shift the welcome 10 minutes" — and it makes the change and sends back a receipt. Every change has an undo, in one word, for ten minutes after.
It only answers from the facts you've put into your own wedding — venue, timing, rooms, pickups. If something isn't in there, it hands off politely instead of guessing, and the miss is logged so you can add the fact. In supervised mode, which is how every wedding starts, you approve the first replies before they go out.
Only the wedding's owners, in the control panel. Guests never see it, and the thank-you note a giver receives on WhatsApp never states the amount.
On the Signature plan, one tap marks the delay and shifts every later item in the run of show automatically. The live day-of page updates for family and vendors within moments, with no login needed.
No per-message charge. Signature includes 1,000 WhatsApp messages from our number — see pricing for the full breakdown.
Yes. Anything you change in your control panel updates the same link immediately — your guests never need a new one.
No. Your wedding page stays live at the link you shared; there's no countdown or removal date.
On the Signature plan, yes — a subdomain like yourname.shaadimode.com, provisioned automatically.
Straight from the pricing page or your wedding’s Settings, with Razorpay — cards, UPI or netbanking. Your ₹1,000 coupon applies on its own; there is no code to type.No GST is added today. Prefer a person? Message us on WhatsApp.
An AI caricature of the two of you for the 3D invitations, in one of five styles, Gaana Invite songs sung with your names and each guest's, the photo cut-out that places you in a 3D save the date, the Guest Concierge that answers guests on WhatsApp, and machine translation of the invitation into languages beyond English, Hindi and Marathi.
Yes. There are 21 caricature films with a painted couple: keep the painted pair or upload your own caricature, and your names, date and venue are lettered in. In 20 of them each family's copy can open with "Dear" and their name; Our Love Story is made on request. In the 3D invitations, AI can draw the two of you as caricatures in one of five styles.
Yes. The 3D and animated films open with each family's name written into the film, and 20 of the 21 caricature films open with "Dear" and the family's name. Gaana Invite goes further: a song sung for your wedding, and a voice calls each guest by name in the break. The films and the song come with Plus, which includes one Gaana Invite song.
Plus includes one song and Signature three, each with every guest called by name. Any other song is ₹499. On Free you can try the first 30 seconds of your own song, and a song bought for ₹499 is one film for all your guests, without names.
