Questions about wedding films
Does every family really get a different film?
Yes, with the 3D, animated and per-family films: each opens with that family's own name written into it, and everything else is the same film. In 20 of the 21 caricature films each family's copy can open with "Dear" and their name; Our Love Story is made on request.
How does it reach them?
On WhatsApp: from your own WhatsApp on Plus, or from our number on Signature. It arrives as a video they can watch, save and forward, not as a link to a website.
Can I choose a different film for different people?
That is the point of having more than one. You group your guest list however you like — friends, your father's side, the office — and choose a film per group. Anyone whose group has no film chosen is left out rather than sent the wrong one.
How long is each film?
From 18 seconds for a short save the date to about a minute and three quarters for a full caricature invitation. The 3D invitation films run about a minute. Every film is vertical, made for a phone held upright.
Can we be in the film ourselves?
Yes. In a 3D save the date your own photo is cut out and placed standing in the scene. In a 3D invitation the couple can be your own AI caricature, in one of five styles. A caricature film comes with a painted couple, or you upload your own caricature. The animated films need no photo at all: the couple in them is part of the painting.
Can a wedding film have a song with our names in it?
Yes. Gaana Invite is a short film set to a song sung for your wedding, with your names, both families, every function and your city. Each guest's copy calls them by name in the break. Plus includes one song.
What if my guest list changes after I send?
Add the family and make one more film. Only the two seconds carrying their name are made fresh; the rest is already done, so a late addition takes under a minute.
