Questions

Wedding invitations, answered.

What is a digital wedding invitation?

A digital wedding invitation is an invitation sent as a link or file instead of a printed card. On ShaadiMode it is a link that opens like a short film on the guest's phone, then shows every function, venue, map and timing, and lets the guest RSVP.

Can I make a wedding invitation for free?

Yes. Free makes 2 invitations in any of the 37 designs, forever, with no watermark and RSVP for up to 50 families on one shared link. More invitations and a link per family come with Plus, ₹2,999 once per wedding.

How do I send a wedding invitation on WhatsApp?

Copy your invitation link and paste it into a WhatsApp chat or broadcast; it opens inside WhatsApp's browser with a preview card. On Plus each family gets its own link, and one tap opens WhatsApp with that family's message already written.

Is a link better than a PDF or video invitation?

A PDF or video is fixed the moment you send it: a changed time means a new file, and RSVPs come back as scattered chat replies. A link can be updated after sending, opens maps with a tap, and collects replies per function in one list.

Do you have designs for my tradition?

Yes. There are looks built for Tamil, Kerala, Bengali, Marathi, Sikh and Punjabi, Christian and Kashmiri weddings, devotional designs with Shiv and Parvati or Ram and Sita, a royal palace look that opens with Ganesh, and beach, destination and city looks. Any design carries any tradition's functions.

Can I put every function on one invitation?

Yes. Add every function, from haldi and mehendi to the pheras and reception, each with its own venue, time, map and dress code. On Plus each family sees only the functions they are invited to.

Can the invitation be in Hindi, Marathi or another language?

Yes, on Plus. The invitation can be set in 28 languages, 18 of them Indian (Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and more), and guests can switch between the ones you pick.

Should I send a save the date first?

If the wedding is more than three months away or guests need to travel, yes. The save the date fixes the date; the invitation follows with the details. Both live on the same ShaadiMode wedding.
